These two acrylic paintings on watercolor paper are fresh off the drafting board. The one on the left began life as a realistic depiction of plants in the garden, painted during a lull on our studio tour. A couple of brown shapes at top left are all that remains of that. The one on the right is a bit larger than this image, there are more tree/reed shapes to the right. It is painted from scratch (also with scratches) and perhaps is overworked and overly colorful?

Obviously, I enjoy horizontality.
